May’s death was announced on Friday, October 2, 2026, leaving fraternity brothers, classmates, faculty, and close friends across the Uptown campus facing profound shock and sadness. As an active member of the Sigma Chapter, May was known as an engaged, supportive, and dedicated student leader who formed strong bonds with peers across the university campus.
