CENTREVILLE, Virginia — Police detectives are investigating a fatal domestic incident that claimed the lives of 31-year-old Brandon Brown and his 31-year-old wife, Lavinia Brown. As reported by local media outlets in Fairfax County, the shooting occurred on Wednesday evening, September 9, 2026, inside the couple's family residence located on Sharps Drive in Centreville.

Emergency Police Dispatch and Scene Discovery According to preliminary investigation bulletins issued by the Fairfax County Police Department, officers dispatched to the home at approximately 5:30 p.m. following emergency 911 calls reporting gunfire.
