According to reports from the Goshen Police Department, the incident occurred shortly before 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of East Lincoln Avenue and Olive Street. Myers was operating a 2006 Honda motorcycle when his vehicle collided with a Ford Econoline van within the intersection.

Emergency Response: Officers and fire department medics responded to the scene and administered initial emergency care.

Hospital Transport: Myers was transported to Elkhart General Hospital with severe injuries, where medical personnel later pronounced him deceased.

Driver Status: The driver of the Ford Econoline van reported no injuries. Officers cited and released the van driver at the scene.
