Investigators have established a crime scene at a caravan park in Campbellfield after a person died in a fire early this morning.
Police are investigating a fatal fire at a caravan park in Melbourne's north early this morning.
Fire crews were called to the blaze at the Sylvan caravan park in Sydney Road about 4:30am.
Police have confirmed a person has died but are yet to release any further details.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said a crime scene has been set up at the caravan park.
"Detectives will investigate the circumstances which at this stage are yet to be determined," the spokesperson said.

Acting Commander Matt Nicholson from Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) said crews extinguished the fire quickly.
"On scene they were met with an intense fire. Crews brought the fire under control within approximately ten minutes," he said.
"FRV crews did a tremendous job."
FRV said about 20 firefighters worked on the blaze.
