Dangote Refinery has approved 32 banks, fintechs, mobile operators and other platforms for investors to subscribe for its shares when the public offer opens. The Federal Government has also announced plans to give Nigerian students 100MB of free daily data for approved educational websites from October 1.
This is as the Federal Government has paid the naira equivalent of $100,000 to each D’Tigress player following their record fifth consecutive Afrobasket title, while the United States has delivered military equipment to the Nigerian Air Force under a foreign military sales agreement.

The Federal Government will give students 100MB of free daily data for approved educational websites and digital learning platforms from October 1. The scheme will initially cover learners in public senior secondary schools and tertiary institutions.

FG pays $100,000 each to D’Tigress players following fifth Afrobasket title
The Federal Government said it has paid the naira equivalent of $100,000 to each D’Tigress player as part of the presidential reward for their 2025 Afrobasket victory. Team officials also received the naira equivalent of $50,000 each, completing the cash component of the promised rewards.

US supports Nigeria with new military equipment under arms deal
The United States has delivered military equipment to the Nigerian Air Force under a foreign military sales agreement between both countries. AFRICOM said the delivery is intended to strengthen Nigeria’s counter-terrorism efforts and the US-Nigeria security partnership.
