EPL: Premier League releases 2026/27 festive fixtures

The Premier League has announced its festive fixtures for the 2026/27 season, with seven matches confirmed for Boxing Day as clubs prepare for a busy Christmas and New Year period.

The fixtures according to Premier League, covering match rounds 17 to 20 from December 26 to January 7, 2027, were released early to give supporters more than three months to plan travel and matchday arrangements on Thursday.

On Boxing Day, Aston Villa will host Leeds in the early kick-off, while Everton face Sunderland, Fulham take on Brighton, Ipswich meet Brentford and Tottenham welcome Bournemouth.

Liverpool will travel to Hull for the 17:30 fixture, before Newcastle host Manchester City at 20:00 to round off the day’s action.

The following day will see Coventry host Chelsea, Manchester United face Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace welcome Arsenal.

The festive schedule continues on December 29 and 30, with a number of high-profile fixtures, including Everton against Manchester City and Aston Villa versus Liverpool.

Leeds will host Everton on New Year’s Day, while the first weekend of 2027 features another full programme, highlighted by Bournemouth against Aston Villa and Chelsea’s meeting with Newcastle.

Manchester City will face Tottenham on January 3, before the festive programme concludes with a packed midweek schedule. Manchester United will host Newcastle on January 7 in the final fixture of the period.

The Premier League said clubs will have at least 60 hours between matches throughout the Christmas and New Year period, following commitments to ease the demands of the congested festive schedule amid an expanding European and international calendar.

Further broadcast selections for November fixtures are expected in the week commencing September 21, with December selections due to be announced in the week commencing October 19.
