Iran threatens expanded strikes on US warships if blockade continues

Iran’s unified military command has warned that it could intensify and broaden attacks on US naval vessels if Washington maintains its maritime blockade and continues the “harassment of Iranian ships”.

The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters issued the warning in a statement carried by Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB.

It came after US forces said they had struck three Iranian oil tankers earlier today.
