HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — The Huntsville and Roanoke communities are mourning the passing of 21-year-old Jordan Darnell West and his longtime partner, Synquavia Keyona “Keke” Staples, who were found deceased in a Huntsville apartment on Sunday evening, September 27, 2026.

At approximately 7:00 p.m., Huntsville Police Department officers responded to a welfare check call at a residential complex on Johns Road.
