Emily C. Dollarhide Dies Following Multi-Vehicle Crash in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — A multi-vehicle collision in Nashville, Tennessee, has resulted in the death of 35-year-old Emily C. Dollarhide. Emergency personnel and Metro Nashville Police Department officers responded to the 4700 block following reports of a severe two-vehicle crash.

According to accident investigators, Dollarhide was a passenger in a 2025 Ford Mustang operated by her husband, Carl J. Dollarhide. The collision occurred when a Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by 63-year-old Gary Pinson, attempted a U-turn in the roadway while the Mustang was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed. Dollarhide, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of impact, sustained critical injuries and was transported by emergency medical services to Skyline Medical Center, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Carl J. Dollarhide was wearing his seatbelt and reported no injuries. Pinson was also restrained and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
