Landon Mullins, Duke Weddle and Elijah Hammons Obituary: London, Kentucky, Three Teenagers Remembered After Somerset Road Crash

The deaths of Landon Mullins, Duke Weddle and Elijah Hammons have brought sadness to families and communities across Kentucky. The three teenagers lost their lives in a crash on Somerset Road in London, leaving their loved ones facing a painful and unexpected loss.

According to reports from local news outlets, emergency responders were called to the scene after a single-vehicle collision late Saturday night. The Laurel County Sheriff's Office and London City Police Department are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Preliminary findings indicate the vehicle was travelling east along Kentucky Route 1956 when it approached a sharp right-hand curve. The vehicle reportedly left the road and overturned. Authorities are examining evidence to establish the full sequence of events. 
Landon Mullins, 17, was from Mount Vernon, Kentucky. Duke Weddle, 18, and Elijah Hammons, 18, were also identified among the victims. Reports differ on Duke Weddle's hometown, with early coverage identifying him as being from London and another report listing Corbin.
Joseph Cope, 20, of Lexington, was also involved in the collision and sustained critical injuries. He was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center for treatment. 
The investigation remains ongoing. Officials are reviewing evidence, including vehicle event data, to help determine what led to the crash.
As family members and friends grieve, Landon, Duke and Elijah will be remembered by those whose lives they touched. Their deaths serve as a painful reminder of how suddenly families and communities face loss.
