Shohei Ohtani is headed to the injured list as the two-way star continues to deal with issues with his right biceps and left knee, Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts announced after the team’s 14-1 home win over the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday.

Ohtani has missed six of the past seven games. 

“We’re gonna IL Shohei,” Roberts said in his postgame news conference. “I think, talking to Shohei, the doctors, the training staff, it’s the right thing to do.
