LAKEWOOD, Colo. — Police in Lakewood are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 45-year-old Mark Andrew Reins on Tuesday afternoon, September 15, 2026. According to the Lakewood Police Department, officers responded around 4:30 p.m. to a residence in the 1500 block of South Wright Street following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, first responders located Reins suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
