FARMVILLE, Va. — The Farmville Police Department has launched a homicide investigation following the death of 55-year-old Ronald Langston on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. According to local law enforcement, officers responded on Wednesday morning to a residential property in the 400 block of South Virginia Street after receiving a report regarding a deceased individual. Upon arriving at the scene, responding officers located Langston inside the residence suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
