PONCHATOULA, Louisiana — A violent single-vehicle collision in Tangipahoa Parish claimed the lives of three young men early Monday morning, September 28, 2026, after their vehicle struck an interstate support structure.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop L and local emergency services responded to reports of a crash on the northbound Interstate 55 on-ramp originating from U.S. Highway 51 near Ponchatoula.
