JACKSON, Ga. — Family members, friends, colleagues and members of the Jackson community are mourning the death of Audrey Elizabeth Harkness, a 26-year-old Georgia woman remembered for her family connections, professional career, faith and involvement in her community.

According to an obituary published by Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home, Audrey died Saturday, September 12, 2026, on her family's farm in Jackson, Georgia.

She was born September 21, 1999, at Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin.

Audrey Harkness's Education and Career

Audrey was a 2018 graduate of Jackson High School.

She continued her education at LaGrange College, graduating in May 2022 with a bachelor's degree in art and design.

Dr. Jay Sanders and Rudy Mangham are scheduled to officiate.

Interment will follow at Fellowship Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Jackson.
