Paul Onuachu will score more goals for Trabzonspor following the arrival of Mohamed Salah, according to former club forward Emre Güral, who believes the Egyptian’s presence will create more space for the Super Eagles striker, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.
Salah recently joined the Turkish club after leaving Liverpool, and Güral said opposition defenders would now have to pay closer attention to the winger, allowing Onuachu to operate with greater freedom in attack.
“Paul Onuachu will now receive the ball in a much different way and create different positions. Onuachu will create more space because the opposing team’s players will focus on Mohamed Salah. Onuachu is a very good striker with consistency in scoring goals,” Güral told Turkiyegazetesi.
The former Trabzonspor striker added that Salah’s quality would make the Nigerian even more dangerous in front of goal.

“If he finds a little more space thanks to Salah, he can score many different goals. A player like Salah is a plus for any team. When Salah attacks, the opposing team will be forced to try to take precautions. If precautions are taken against Salah, players like Onuachu will find more space,” he said.
Onuachu completed a permanent return to Trabzonspor after a successful loan spell and enjoyed an outstanding 2025/26 campaign, finishing as the Turkish Süper Lig’s joint top scorer with 22 goals.
The Nigerian will now hope to build a formidable partnership with Salah as Trabzonspor chase success this season.
