According to official updates from the Stephens County Sheriff's Office and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), emergency medical personnel and deputies responded to a report of a pedestrian struck along the roadway. First responders confirmed Setayesh deceased at the scene as a result of fatal injuries. Investigators subsequently identified and arrested the driver involved, an off-duty Duncan Police Department officer, who was booked into the county jail facing charges including second-degree murder and leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
