According to official releases from the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a home on South River Road on Thursday following a welfare check request initiated by an out-of-state caller. Upon entering the residence, responding officers located Allison deceased. Authorities subsequently located 47-year-old Tyler Earl Essex in Skagit County, Washington, taking him into custody on a second-degree murder charge pending court proceedings.
