PEORIA, Illinois — The American Flat Track and Midwestern motorcycle racing community is mourning the loss of rising athlete Bayne Nantz, who passed away following a severe on-track incident during the Dan Bromley Memorial Peoria TT.
A Promising Career and Final Milestone on the Dirt Track
A dedicated dirt track pilot competing under Nantz Bros Racing on his KTM 450 SX-F, Bayne achieved a career milestone at the historic Peoria Motorcycle Club venue by qualifying second in the AFT ProSport 450 division for the Dan Bromley Memorial event.
Generous Final Gift and Personal Legacy
Beyond his accomplishments on the track, Bayne was known for his love of woodworking, outdoor pursuits, and hands-on craftsmanship. In accordance with his generous character, Bayne’s family chose to honor his memory through organ donation facilitated by Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network, offering a life-saving impact to individuals in need.
